Buzzard lookout

buzzard lookout

From the bare upper branches of the tallest trees running along the edge of Badger Loop and Ever Meadow Glade, the buzzard casts his keen eyesight across the meadow on one side and into the woods on the other, on the lookout for a tasty meal. Look up at the long distinctive peeeeeeeeeep call and you may see it circling overhead. It is also at home on top of the old gnarly stump, perched on its twisted top.
